The D416 tractor kit includes a detailed assembly manual. All connections are screwed, and the tractor can be assembled by tinkerers and model-building enthusiasts. The illustrated instructions guarantee a simple and safe assembly process.
This steam tractor, with black paintwork and polished brass parts, was modeled by Wilesco after an original vehicle seen on the roads in the early 19th century. The original was used in agriculture and forestry. A beautiful collector's item.
Wilesco tractor – mobile and stationary use
The tractor can drive forward and backward via a flywheel that can be started in both directions. The boiler has a diameter of 45 mm and a length of 185 mm, giving it a capacity of 230 cm³. The brass boiler is highly polished and nickel-plated. The water level indicator is designed as a sight glass to let you observe the internal steam process. The tractor has chain steering and a gear clutch. With the disengageable gear transmission, it can also be used as a stationary steam engine. Running time with one load of Wilesco gel fuel is approximately 15 minutes.
