The Wilesco Steamroller Kit D376 (black/brass) is a stylish color variation that is sure to delight collectors and model enthusiasts alike.
This kit features all the same functions as the pre-assembled steamroller. You will experience first-hand how a steam engine works as you assemble each component step-by-step. Thanks to the richly illustrated manual, even beginners can complete the build in about 3–4 hours. A smooth, uninterrupted workflow is recommended. All parts are quality checked before shipping.
The Old Smoky steamroller has been produced in this form since the mid-1960s – it was the first mobile steam model in the Wilesco range.
This model is based on classic road rollers widely used in road construction until the 1950s.
Operable as both mobile and stationary steamroller
Walkway, chain steering and clutch are standard. The clutch – operated by a rod next to the driver – allows stationary operation. The 230 ccm boiler is powerful enough to tow accessories or drive model machinery. The aluminum rollers are polished and painted.
For indoor and outdoor use
The Wilesco D376 steamroller can be operated both indoors and outdoors. It features a reversible flywheel and chain steering. The chimney emits real steam during use. One filling of Wilesco gel fuel provides about 15 minutes of operating time.

Wilesco Drive Belts in a Bag These drive belts are required to operate our drive models. One bag contains five drive spirals. The spirals are made of spring wire and can be closed into a belt by twisting them together. The drive belts come in widths of 2 mm and 2.5 mm. The shorter drive spirals are 26 cm long. However, drive spirals 50 cm long are more suitable for simultaneous operation of several Wilesco models, allowing for a more flexible setup.

Mechanical Cable Remote Control Z361 This is suitable for the Old Smoky steam roller and the steam tractor. It is also usable for the steam fire truck D305. A handy metal handle and a sturdy ground pull make it easy to operate. The control is clamped onto the steering wheel of the steam roller or steam tractor using a spring.
