This steam tractor, painted in black and fitted with polished brass parts, was modeled by Wilesco after an original vehicle seen on the roads at the beginning of the 19th century. Back then, such tractors were used in agriculture and forestry. A beautiful model for collectors.
Wilesco tractor – mobile and stationary use
The tractor can move forward and backward thanks to a flywheel that can be started in both directions. The boiler has a diameter of 45 mm, a length of 185 mm, and a capacity of 230 cm³. The brass boiler is highly polished and nickel-plated. The water level indicator is a sight glass, inviting you to closely observe the steam process. The tractor has chain steering and a gear clutch. Thanks to the disengageable gear transmission, the steam tractor can also be used as a stationary engine. Running time with one load of Wilesco gel fuel is approximately 15 minutes.
