The Wilesco Steamroller Old Smoky
We've been producing the Old Smoky steamroller in this form since the mid-1960s – it was Wilesco’s first mobile steam engine model.
This mobile engine is based on steamrollers commonly used in road construction until the 1950s.
The color scheme has remained unchanged since the 60s!
Usable as a mobile or stationary steamroller
Walkway, chain steering, and clutch are standard features. The clutch (left of the driver's seat) allows stationary use. With its 230 ccm boiler, it can pull accessories or drive models. Aluminum rollers are anodized and painted.
For indoor and outdoor use
With forward/reverse function, steering chain, and real steam chimney, the D365 is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. One fill of gel fuel lasts approx. 15 minutes.
Also available as a kit
Available as kit D375/D376 – same features, great for beginners with illustrated instructions. Assembly time: 3–4 hours. Note: kit not available in black/nickel.
