D20 Steam Engine Heated with Witabs
This stationary steam engine is the most produced machine in the Wilesco range. The 6.5 x 16.5 cm boiler has a volume of 500 cc. The steam pressure can be constantly monitored through the pressure gauge, and the drain valve can be used to remove any residual water from the boiler after use.
Our D20 is a model steam engine with plenty of power, making it ideal for running larger model systems. You'll find a wide selection of suitable drive models in our shop. The real steam-spewing chimney is also great fun, and the steam release can be regulated through the steam valve.
Like all Wilesco steam engine models, the D20 is "Made in Germany" and will run reliably for many years with adequate oiling and attention to the water level in the boiler.
The stationary steam engine is powered by our Witabs dry fuel, one charge of Witabs will last for about 10-15 minutes of steam fun.

Wilesco Drive Belts in a Bag These drive belts are required to operate our drive models. One bag contains five drive spirals. The spirals are made of spring wire and can be closed into a belt by twisting them together. The drive belts come in widths of 2 mm and 2.5 mm. The shorter drive spirals are 26 cm long. However, drive spirals 50 cm long are more suitable for simultaneous operation of several Wilesco models, allowing for a more flexible setup.

Regular and sufficient oiling with our original Wilesco steam engine oil ensures a smooth operation of your power engine and a long lifespan of the product you have purchased. The oil is used for lubricating pistons and cylinders as well as all other bearings. It is important not to use just any oil, because the correct consistency of the oil is crucial. Depending on the type of oil used, the oil may become hard, too thick or too thin. Therefore, Wilesco offers its special steam engine oil, whose composition is perfectly matched to all Wilesco steam engines. With our steam engine oil, you can be sure you are making the right choice!
Witabs Dry Fuel - The High Quality Dry Fuel for Your Steam Engine Witabs dry fuel from Wilesco is needed for optimal heating of steam engines. It is a special in-house development, offers the following advantages over the dry fuel Esbit: Higher efficiency: Witabs dry fuel offers a particularly long burning time of approximately 10 minutes per tablet. Witabs burn almost residue-free - this protects your steam engine Witabs dry fuel is particularly easy to handle A box of dry fuel contains 12 tablets.
