This Old Smoky steamroller features a beautiful black and brass design – a true collector's model.
The model is inspired by classic road rollers that were widely used in road construction up to the 1950s.
Usable as both mobile and stationary steamroller
Catwalk, chain steering, and clutch are standard features of our Old Smoky. The clutch – operated via a rod next to the driver’s seat – allows the steamroller to function as a stationary steam engine. With its 230 ccm boiler, the Old Smoky has enough power to tow accessories or drive other models. The polished and painted aluminum rollers add a touch of elegance.
For indoor and outdoor use
The Wilesco D366 steamroller is suitable for indoor and outdoor operation. The flywheel can be started in both directions, allowing forward and backward motion. Steering is controlled by a chain. The chimney emits realistic steam during operation. A fill of Wilesco gel fuel provides approximately 15 minutes of run time.
Also available as a kit
We also offer the D366 as a kit: model D376. It includes all the features of the assembled version. This kit lets you discover the construction and function of steam engines step by step. Even beginners can assemble it with ease, thanks to the detailed illustrated manual. Assembly takes around 3–4 hours. Ideally, assemble it without interruption. All components are quality-checked before shipping.
Please note: The kit is not available in black/nickel finish.
